We decorated 25 bags!

About our project: Instead of the grocery bags, my class created bookmarks. With a delay in motor skills it was simpler for my kids to color in all the white in a smaller space of a bookmark. I find some free templates online I simply print out on cardstock then cut the bookmarks out. After the coloring was completed I laminated them and we passed them out at our school library.

We decorated 45 bags!

About our project: I called a local grocery store and they were willing to donate the bags for decoration. The children in my 2nd grade classes decorated the bags and had a blast doing it! We talked about recycling, planting trees, Not Littering, and more as we colored the bags. It was a lot of fun...just cannot wait to give them to the store for handing out to the customers!

We decorated 340 bags!

About our project: The students had a great time decorating the sacks. For the younger children, we used copies of the Earth for them to color, cut, and glue onto the sacks along with various slogans for Earth Day.
