We decorated 384 bags!

About our project: Junior Girl Scout Troop 921 from Des Moines, Iowa used this project to earn their Bronze Award in Girl Scouting which is the highest award you can earn as a Junior Girl Scout. They spent 15 plus hours preparing, presenting to Hy-Vee and St. Anthony's School, making and collecting snd returning the bags. The customers at Hy-vee were thrilled to learn that the girl scouts and students are interested in helping to save the earth! They even had a two page article about it in the local newspaper.

We decorated 43 bags!

About our project: The activities were used with students in our teacher education program and their local school districts. Your website provided excellent ideas for prospective teachers in multimodal, hands-on, socially responsive lessons. Even college students still love to color if it serves a purpose!
