We decorated 25 bags!

About our project: Instead of the grocery bags, my class created bookmarks. With a delay in motor skills it was simpler for my kids to color in all the white in a smaller space of a bookmark. I find some free templates online I simply print out on cardstock then cut the bookmarks out. After the coloring was completed I laminated them and we passed them out at our school library.

We decorated 61 bags!

About our project: Our club's mission is to provide joy to others through art. The students believe that raising awareness to help protect our planet is really important and so they worked really hard to decorate the paper bags. They loved that they could use their creativity to make a difference in the world.

We decorated 500 bags!

About our project: By participating in the Earth Day Groceries Project, Luis Munoz Marin School helped promote environmental awareness in our community. In this activity, 4th-6th graders decorated large, paper grocery bags with drawings and environmental messages. The general manager at Stop & Shop displayed a lot of the bags inside the store and will also be bagging groceries with the decorated bags to their customers.

We decorated 250 bags!

About our project: Our TEAM, 7A, participated in an Earth Day Awareness Day. My classes participated in the Grocery Bag project. The kids were very enthusiastic and the store managers received the concept readily! I can't wait until Sunday when our community goes shopping and sees what out Middle School students have done!
