Thanks for letting us
participate in your project! Our Nottingham School,(2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders),
decorated 1500 bags from the local Super Fresh and Acme Grocery stores.
We had a blast doing it, and the people in the stores (especially Super
Fresh) loved the kids' drawings. It is a great way to get the local businesses
and community involved and more aware of what we are teaching the children.
I delivered the bags today and they will be distributed from Tuesday through
Earth Day to any of the shoppers in the area. We may even get some publicity
in the local news! We are a small rural community located about 60 miles
southwest of Philadelphia in Chester County, PA. Our Official address is
Nottingham Elementary School, 736 Garfield Street, Oxford, PA. 19363. We
have 740 children in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and I am a fourth grade teacher
with internet access at home but not at school. Thanks again!
