Pictures from 2004 Florence and Hillcrest Elementary in Florence, WI

The first picture is the 4 year-old kindergarten class at Florence ( Wisconsin ) Elementary. The second picture is the local grocer, Bob, who did the judging of over 250 bags.

We have had a very stressful year as our school district seriously looked at bankruptcy or redistricting. The school board has made some serious cutbacks and are holding on but the threads are pulled tight. It was especially nice to have a pleasant and positive experience to bring to the students and community as we found the grocery bag project to be.
