Pictures from 2004 Assurant Satellite Learning Center in Miami, FL

Students in 2nd grade enjoyed participating in this Earth Day Groceries activity.  The students decorated approximately 20 bags.  The bags were distributed at our local Publix.  Our Earth Day activities included: keeping an “Earth Day Report Card”, decorating Publix grocery bags, eating "dirt cups" (crushed cookies layered with pudding and gummi-worms), and creating beautiful "Trash Sculptures" from garbage.  The students discovered many ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  Happy Earth Day 2004 from second graders at Assurant Satellite Learning Center!!!
